Algate Business Solutions Ltd. provides Authorised Representative service. Algate Business Solutions is a limited company registered in England no. 4407380 and incorporated on 2 April 2002.

We provide Authorised Representative services for PPE manufacturers based outside the European Union. Algate Business Solutions Ltd is independent from import agents and certification organisations.

PPE manufacturers who are not resident in the EU and who import their goods into the EU are required to obtain CE certification and to create a document called the Technical File containing the details of the product as certified.

The EU trading standards organisations such as the consumer fair trading offices and government import/export agencies require the manufacturer to ensure that a copy of the Technical File is held on EU territory by the manufacturer's representative.

Algate Business Solutions holds these files securely in the UK for manufacturers and deals with the trading standards organisations on the manufacturers' behalf.
